All 13 pathologists have board certification in anatomic and clinical pathology by the American Board of Pathology, and our oral pathologist has achieved board certification from the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology. Many of our pathologists have also received subspecialty fellowship training in fields such as gastrointestinal/liver pathology, dermatopathology, hematopathology, cytopathology, and general surgical pathology.

PathOptix Research Group is accredited by the College of American Pathology (CAP) – the CAP accreditation program has been recognized in the United States and internationally as the gold standard of excellence in laboratory medicine. PathOptix is the only independent laboratory not affiliated with a hospital in Northwest Arkansas to achieve CAP accreditation.

PathOptix is a stand-alone anatomic pathology laboratory at 390 E. Longview Street, Fayetteville, Arkansas, providing pathology services to all the local hospitals in Benton, Carroll, Madison and Washington Counties. These include Washington Regional Medical Center and Northwest Medical Center-Springdale in the south, Northwest Medical Center-Bentonville and Mercy Hospital-Northwest Arkansas in the north, Mercy-Hospital Berryville and Eureka Springs Hospital in the east, and Siloam Springs Regional Medical Center in the west, among others.
